Senior Citizens’ Therapy Group

General Information: Our bi-weekly senior citizens’ therapy group, provides a supportive and compassionate environment where older adults can come together to share their experiences, learn new coping strategies, and receive support from peers who are going through similar challenges.

Our therapy group is designed for seniors who are dealing with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, or loneliness. Whether you are struggling with a specific problem or simply looking for a supportive community, our group can help you find the support and validation you need.

Our therapy sessions are led by a licensed therapist who has previous experience working with older adults. We use a variety of evidence-based approaches to promote emotional regulation, mindfulness, and healthy coping strategies. Our sessions may include group discussions, guided activities, and psychoeducation on topics such as skills for mental wellbeing, self-knowledge, reflection, self-care, and meaning-making.

In addition to offering emotional support and guidance, our therapy group can also help you build new social connections and enhance your overall well-being. By participating in our therapy group, you will have the opportunity to connect with other seniors who share your experiences and concerns, and to develop new skills and strategies for managing the challenges of aging.

Our therapy group is open to seniors of all backgrounds and experiences. We welcome you to join us and become a part of our supportive and caring community.
